Caitlin recently graduated from Boston University with a major in Marine Science
and a minor in Earth Science. She spent the summer as an ocean technician on the
R/V Thompson as part of the Regional Scale Nodes Project completing construction
of an underwater cabled observatory. Her research background is in phytoplankton
responses to ocean acidification and evaluating coral health, but she has a wide
range of research interests and is excited to get out to sea and get her hands dirty!
When she is not at sea, she enjoys photography, reading, and volunteering with the
penguins at the New England Aquarium.
